As you may know, I’m a field staff member for Treezyn Camo. I truly love their products. The products are comfortable and look great.
Recently they had a little friendly photo competition among the staff members to see how well their camo blended in. They wanted us to send in a few pictures showing how well it worked for us.
Of course, I had to go a little farther than some. I really wanted to know how useful it was in Louisiana. Especially the “Late Season” Vixen pattern.
In some parts of the country, the trees are bare, and the world is waiting for Ole’ Man Winter to cover the countryside in a blanket of snow. But not so much here in Louisiana. Down in the south, we still have a lot of green all year round. And snow is a rare thing. Although we did get some a few days ago. It didn’t stay long but we enjoyed it while it lasted.
With a couple of photographers (aka my Godparents) in tow, I set out to put Treezyn’s LS Camo to the test. And of course, have fun. Fifty thousand shots later, we had some good and some not-so-good photos. Here are a few I thought I’d share with you.
I had several places I wanted to try. I would go into a place and then ask, “Can you see me?” The photographers would take the pictures and/ or give me tips on how to move to make it effective. And they laughed.
Sometimes they were laughing too hard to take pictures. We had a blast and got a lot of great shots.
We took some serious ones and several hundred not so serious. You think I’m kidding about the amount but I’m not. I like taking pictures. And I like making people laugh and having fun. A photoshoot with me is always a crazy adventure.
I climbed into trees, bushes, and piles of brush. Ducked behind logs and saplings and sat in tall grass to see how well it worked. And my photographers followed me around, snapping pictures, laughing, pointing to other places to try, and sticking with me through it all. After several hours and the sun finally set, we wrapped up.
My conclusion: The Vixen Cameo worked great in a lot of different situations. In my opinion, the “Early Season” camo works really well far into the Louisiana winter but the “Late Season” camo also works great in the piney woods that cover most of our state. And the LS is very warm.
I believe I can use them both to ensure some good hunting. They are truly effective in lots of environments. A thumbs up for this camo.
Hey by the way, —-Can you see me in all the pictures? You can if you look closely. This stuff looks amazing, doesn’t it?
Way to go Treezyn!!!
