We took a little trip to South Carolina for a short vacation. No hunting or fishing. No camo. No woods. Just fun and relaxing, driving along enjoying the scenery. We loved seeing all the beautiful places along the way.
One of our favorites was Charleston and we didn’t get to spend enough time there for sure. We visited several gardens, zoos, and historical monuments and took a few pictures.

And of course we had to try out the local cuisine because we are foodies. We stopped at lewisbarbecue.com/ And the ribs were amazing. You should try them sometime. We also stopped at Tavern & Table. The food was wonderful and you can see more about it in my other post. Stopped at a little Mexican restaurant for fajitas too.
We got the chance to walk along the beach showing off our tans and wading in the surf. Aves didn’t want to leave. She loved the sand and the ocean. We didn’t have enough time to see everything. We are hoping we get to go back soon with longer to stay. But it was a nice adventure!!!
